August 5th, 2011NM: We lost two workcampers this month on health and family issues, so we are looking for two work camper couples. We offer an RV site with full hookups and a $50.00 / month propane credit. Each workcamper couple works the park office for three days one week and four days the next. We are a small park (20 sites) and are located 22 miles east of Silver City, New Mexico. We have four gentle seasons and the RV park is open year-round. We have free WIFI, and a laundry. We pump propane and have some storage rentals. The Mimbres River Valley is scenic and historic. Everyone is low-key and mostly retired. We have a few workers renting by the month. August 5th, 2011MI: Recreation Resource Management has two camp host couples leaving us in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the next couple of weeks and we need some hosts to replace them. These WOW positions are in US Forest Service campgrounds, and have various levels of host amenities. The positions are only for six weeks or so, but provide a host site, utilities, and a wage. August 5th, 2011TX: Park hosts needed immediately at Lighthouse Beach RV Park, City of Port Lavaca, Texas. All applicants must be couples. Duties include collecting money from customers, selling annual passes, renting the pavilion, meet and greet RV customers, register and collect money from RV customers, and help keep the park clean. Compensation is free lot rent with 30 or 50 amp electric and full RV hook up. This is a volunteer workamper position — no wages.
